We like to give each class a summer shopping list of items that would be helpful for your child to bring in August. These are supplies that we typically guise in Mrs. Limberg's class:
1. Backpack
2. Markers
3. Colored Pencils
4. Cap Erasers & 12 Extra Pencils (prefer non-mechanical)
5. One Highlighter Pen
6. Small box of crayons (see Below)
7. Pencil Box (zipper pack for extra pencils helps)
8. BLUE PLASTIC FOLDER (PLEASE BLUE ONLY) FOR H.W.
9. ONE INCH BLACK BINDER WITH CLEAR PLASTIC COVER (SO YOU CAN SLIDE COVER OF AG REPORT INSIDE)
We do use crayons from time to time, but it's not very often. I have a couple of tubs of crayons, but for those who like their own set, crayons could be added to the list.
I will provide folders for various subjects. If kids take care of them, they'll last the school year. I've always discouraged binders because we don't have room in the small desks for them, but many kids like to use them. They just keep their binders in their backpacks. If they buy the kind that you can slip paper in the front, this could be helpful for their daily Homework Helpers.
